Harry Styles is about to show us a whole new side of himself. Just a few days after releasing “Sign of the Times” he has revealed the artwork, tracklist and the date he will release his debut solo album.
Lock May 12 into your calendar and get excited because Harry’s self titled record is guaranteed to impress if “Sign of the Times” is anything to go by. Harry has a lot of fans curious with his album cover. The cover features himself in a bath tub filled with pink water. He is looking down with his head in his hand. Anyone who has grown to love Harry will know that everything he does has some kind of hidden message. Until he speaks out himself I guess all we can do at this point is speculate as to what the cryptic cover means.
Harry’s love of being cryptic doesn’t stop there. He has also released the tracklist for the upcoming album which leaves us with more questions. “Meet Me in the Hallway,” “Two Ghosts” and “Kiwi.” Among the titles that are tickling our senses. I guess there is one positive for New Zealand fans. He’s got a song title “Kiwi” which clearly means he feels something special about New Zealand so chances are when he does tour he will make the effort to visit the land of the long white cloud. His cryptic song titles have stirred fans to question the rumoured relationship with ex bandmate Louis Tomlinson. Wellington was a place where Harry and Louis were allegedly caught on camera being romantic could that be the significance of the song? Who knows. Will we ever know? Probably not. I guess the only thing we can hope for is that Harry is happy.
Tomorrow night Harry will perform two songs off his new album on Saturday Night Live, “Sign of the Times” and a currently unreleased track. Safe to say SNL is going to be number 1 on the must watch list this weekend!
