It’s a day we’ve all dreamed about for a long time. We don’t have to dream any longer though. Eminem and Beyonce have finally done a collab and it probably isn’t the sound you were expecting. Rumours were circling last week that Eminem was releasing a song “Walk On Water” those rumours were true however keeping it under wraps that Beyonce features on the track would have been a logistical nightmare.

This is the first track from Eminem’s upcoming 9th LP and it isn’t the sound we were expecting. The track is a stripped-back, introspective ballad which sees the rapper coming to terms with the changing landscape of hip-hop and his place in it.

Eminem has been hinting that he’s about to release a new album for weeks now. All signs suggest the album will be called Revival with the release date of November 17. He is scheduled to perform Saturday Night Live on November 18. Just this week Taylor Swift performed on Saturday Night Live after releasing her album on Friday. If “Walk On Water” is anything to go by he’s heading in a very different direction than The Marshall Mathers LP 2.
