The Instax Square SQ6 is the latest instant camera from FujiFilm. One of the most noticeable differences with this camera is the fact that it is the first analogue camera to shoot in square format. Basically the instax is taking Instagram’s 1:1 ratio and bringing it to life right there as you take a snap. There’s no need for filters with the SQ6 if you want to get creative you can use one of the coloured lenses (orange, purple or green) for the flash to add a pop of colour to your photos.
The camera pays homage to it’s retro heritage while remaining light sleek. It comes in three colour options. Blush Gold, Pearl White and Graphite Gray. The film itself is 1.3 times the size of of the instax mini film allowing you to fit more into your frame.
The instax SQ6’s enables anybody to the perfect photo with it’s automatic exposure and flash adjustments. It has different shooting settings depending on what you’re photographing. Automatic exposure, macro, landscape, and light and dark modes meaning subjects and the background are shot vividly and clearly every time. If you don’t have a photographer on hand don’t worry theres a setting for that too. Simply select the camera’s selfie mode to ensure optimum focus and brightness are captured. There is even a selfie mirror next to the lens to make sure you catch everyone in your snap.
The instax SQUARE SQ6 is available now at Mighty Ape, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Noel Leeming, PB Tech and Photo Warehouse stores for RRP $199.00.
