It’s a shock to the system when you realise it’s been four years since Miley Cyrus released her album Bangerz. I still remember sitting at the Honda Centre in Anaheim watching Miley perform on the Bangerz World Tour. It’s a show like nothing I will ever witness again. To think that she is back in the studio working on a new album is possibly one of the most exciting things I have seen this week. I am so intrigued to see how the album is going to sound. Will it be more like Bangerz or should we expect another album like Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz?

Miley has had a busy time mentoring on The Voice, but that isn’t going to stop her getting back in the most Miley looking studio you will ever see. She took to Instagram to share a post of her studio complete with fluffy curtains, love-heart mats and plush toys.

There is no concrete evidence Miley is working on a new track or album for that matter but there are a few clues floating around on the internet that would suggest we can expect some new music soon. Buzfeed posted an article claiming she would release a new single in October clearly that rumour wasn’t true. Then there was the slip up by Diane Martel (We Can’t Stop director) who revealed in a tweet that Miley was “working on new songs” the tweet has since been deleted. We already know that Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are working on their own albums to release this year which is the perfect opportunity for Miley to create the ultimate Disney Stan wars. Until we hear anything else… watch this space.
