If you aren’t aware, Miley Cyrus is possibly my favourite artist of all time! In other news she was the musical guest for an entire week on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. This calls for celebration as there were so many incredible musical moments throughout the week. It was a massive week for music on a bunch of different levels. The week started with the tragic news of what happened at Route 91 Music festival in Las Vegas- and didn’t really improve with the news of Tom Petty passing mid-week. Miley paid tribute to both the victims of the Las Vegas shooting and Tom Petty with her incredible and touching performances across the week.
My ultimate favourite moment was when Miley played ‘The Climb.’ Definitely a throw-back.
Miley Cyrus and Adam Sandler performed ‘No Freedom’ originally by Dido.
In a tribute to Tom Petty, Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus performed ‘Wildflowers.’
Miley joins Billy Joel on stage at Madison Square Garden to perform ‘New York State Of Mind.’
Miley covers Frank Sinatra’s ‘These Boots Are Made For Walking.’
