One thing I have always admired about Demi Lovato is the fact that she is so open and honest about all of the struggles she has faced in her life. I think it is easy for people to expect someone with a platform to live a “perfect” life. In reality perfection isn’t actually a thing. Demi has had a platform from a very young age and while she’s been figuring out who she is millions of people around the world have been watching her.

In the recently released trailer for Simply Complicated Demi touches on personal tragedies and professional struggles. The YoutTube-exclusive project is the latest in a list of upcoming documentaries which will feature Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and P!nk.
