Troye Sivan has been busy teasing his upcoming release for the past week. Since my last post we have discovered ‘My My My!’ is the title of the record. Since his mysterious a Time Square billboard announcement last week he has been keeping social media buzzing. He has taken the excitement to the next level today releasing a tease for the music video.

Directed by Grant Singer, the visual is scheduled to drop alongside the single on January 10 at 9 PST (January 11 at 6 NZST). If the tease is anything to go be the video appears to be shot in black and white with epic synths accompanying the visual. The tease features Troye in what appears to be an abandon warehouse. The video suggests a more mature direction for Troye’s music and is very much in line with the moody cover art.

I am already excited to hear the first track from Troye’s sophomore LP. Expectations are high for this project considering the success of Blue Neighbourhood. The album was nominated for album of the year at the 2016 ARIAs and charted around the globe. It entered the Billboard 200 at number 7 which is a massive achievement for any artist let alone a first album.
